Let us know... what kind of jumping have you done? I myself went to US Army Basic Parachuting School at Fort Benning, GA back in the early 90s. Did my 5 static line jumps, loved it all, never did it again (not for lack of wanting to, just had other things to do).

Jamie,

You left out the "none" option! ;) I plan to tackle this one soon though!

All military jumps, static line. Jumped in Airborne and Ranger School. Only had 7 jumps, but they never had to push me out

Since I found out that the average cost is only 150USD for you first jump, I plan on doing it in the spring when the weather improves.

Haven't done any so far but would love to!
Think the only option I will have available to try though would be one for charity - going to keep my eye out though for the chance!

Hey Everyone. I am new to the forum and just found this section. Skydiving is something that I love to do but can't for different reasons.

I tried body flying this weekend in New Hampshire (USA) and loved it. Not the whole experience but it was still fun to practice body control Supposedly there is vertical tunnel slated to open in NJ some time in the next few months (but it has been on the books since 2004).

I've get a kick out of knowing if any of you have ever tried body flying & what you think. Also, it might be a good way for people to have an easier into in to this sport.

I have did 22 jumps - mix of tandem and solo freefall - on my way to AFF during late summer 2001.

After a 'long' day on 9/11 my family decided that taking my final check-out jump afer planes started flying again was tempting Fate. Never got to go back but have done body flying at skyventure nh a few times.

5 jumps... all solo freefall. Did it at the AF academy over 10 years ago. One of those things I am proud to have done, proud to have received my wings...... and will never do again :D
